The Dancing Bear

I designed this happy little bear. He is based on the Greenland
coat-of-arms that was adopted in 1985 -- only this bear is MUCH happier.

Dancing bears are common images in Inuit art. I like the idea of a dancing
bear and think this revised coat-of-arms captures the joy of the
competition and the sharing tradition of the Greenlandic people.
This is the spot to buy my glass art (coming soon) as well as a collection of original design t-shirts, mugs,
and other goodies for the kayak enthusiast. Items will change on a regular basis, so check back often.

Click here to shop my Cafe Press site for mug, t-shirts, and other goodies. Here are some of the designs
you'll find there.
Welcome to the gift shop
I also have t-shirts with all the
names of the rolls preformed in
the competition (in Greenlandic,
of course). The text is right-side
up on the front, and upside down
on the back. Very fun stuff.
This is my newest design. I've had this
warning sticker on my plastic kayak for
a while and it's been pretty popular, so
I decided to share. Also a good gift for
your favorite white water paddler.
Greenland is very beautiful -- as are
Greenland style kayaks. I took lots of
photos during the competition. Several
of them are here. This one is digitally
enhanced to look like a painting. You'll
find it on several items.
This happy Greenland bear was my first design and is still my
favorite. He is based on the Greenland coat-of-arms, but this bear
is MUCH happier. He's so happy, he's dancing! Dancing bears are
common in Inuit art.
This bumpersticker has been my
best seller. It's available in red or
Greenlandic blue. This design is
also available on other items.
