Arctic Voice is an ambitious project, and it's hard to keep the big picture in mind
without focusing on it. If you focus on the big picture, the goal seems
impossible -- too big, too far, too many logistical challenges... But by focusing
on the next step, the next small thing that needs to happen, you get there.
All big things are accomplished this way -- by MANY little actions.
Big goals are also accomplished by many individuals. I have always been
fortunate to have support of family and friends (known and unknown). Doors
open in magical ways.
If you would like to join them, I could certainly use your support. I am looking for
a few grants and donations to offset a couple major expenses. Immediate
needs are $3500 to purchase the Feathercraft K1 kayak I will use on the
expedition, and $1,200 for food for the trip. If you can't afford the whole amount,
please know that any contribution towards it really WILL help.
